Popexpert is a company that helps people learn virtually. Not online schooling, but online interest. You can find someone to teach you a language, or how to play an instrument. This is done all through online video conferencing.
The goal for this homepage was to use social influence. I intentionally displayed user icons everywhere to use community as a social leverage. Showing images of user's faces can make it more personal. It can make an online experience not seem so distant.
For any homepage it's important to answer questions such as: What is this? Why is this important? What kind of topics can I learn here? What kind of people teach here? Then at the bottom there is a social network section.
To build trust with consumers you want to present all the information about your product before users get to the point of "buying" so they know exactly what to expect. Here, I show a screenshot in a laptop of a session that is going on in Popexpert.
